In my world, interior design is transformation, pure and simple. I love to make mischief and magic. My secret ingredients are not so secret. I’m drawn to quiet neutral hues, organic textiles, thirsty woods that show their age, stone, marble, elemental metal, and natural fibers. I love modern furniture mixed with vintage, brand new and rough-hewn, slick, and dialed back. All at once. In my world, the magic is in the mix. 

 

This is a kind of design alchemy, the reinvention of spaces that almost seem to be waiting for me. But what happens next is even more exciting. I see it all the time – and I think it may be what attracts many to my interior designs. Transformed spaces inspire transformed living for the people who inhabit the space.
