Is this a weekend for YOU?

It’s not too late to sign up for the LUXE LIFE WEEKEND. Do you know about it?   This time I’m bringing a food coach to prepare and teach us about clean eating, Cheri is brilliant and every time I am around her I learn something new about easy healthy eating.

Grab your girl friends and join us for this laid back weekend that is both relaxing and educational. Do as much or as little as you want from horse back riding and archery to design seminars.

More info on the website.

Attention designers, if you are coming to High Point for Market, come by and see us! Lisa Sherry Interieurs and Susan Simpson Home are having their first ever Market tent sale.

 Can’t wait to see you!

I am feeling so inspired with fresh ideas for our Spring addition of Luxe Life Camp. Horseback riding is definitely still on the activity menu.  Luxie the horse, who was named during our innaugural Luxe Life Camp, is patiently waiting for a rider!

Be Mine

Wishing you and your love a sweet, sweet day.

The rule is: always answer the phone. Especially when you see the name of a brilliant BFF who lives in a faraway metropolis on caller ID. Courtney was hatching FROM, a personal, highly curated shopping experience, sans legwork. Along with three other professional seers and seekers, I was selected to be among FROM’s first buyers. I’m ready. Are you? Oh, yes, you’ll want to know more. Just click through.

Life SoGood

Now that we are thoroughly unplugged from our iAddiction, let’s plug it back in for a moment. We are excited to take part in a new App called the SOGOOD.  A way for you to curate and recommend your favorite local artists, designers, and tastemakers (including us!). Word of mouth has always been our ticket to success. Start your SOGOOD obsession today by giving us your personal recommendation.

Family + Friends + Food = My Favorite Holiday!

No gifts required, its all about the food and relaxing with friends and family.

Here are a few last minute ideas to make your table special. Casual but luxe is always my favorite theme for dressing a table and adding a twist of nature makes it easy to do last minute.

While you are sipping wine, hit your yard for any herbs, twigs, feathers or found objects. Collect and  juxtapose with gold silverware or your heirloom china and feel free to mix and match.

AND DONT FORGET…make a list for all the things you are grateful for. I’m thankful for gravy!

What Happened at Luxe Life Camp Won’t Stay at Camp

I feel like I made fourteen new best friends last weekend. It was the inaugural LSI Luxe Life Camp weekend at Skyland Retreat, just outside of Asheville, NC. Fourteen fabulous woman attended – many from North Carolina, plus travelling campers from Atlanta, Boston and Minneapolis. Activities included archery, horseback riding, massage and random acts of napping. Great conversation is like oxygen to me. I am still reeling with happiness about the weekend. And, I will blog more about it and also share out on Facebook. But for now, pictures tell the story …

A pow-wow in the teepee. Not sure if we solved the world’s problems, but the conversations were great.

Who knew dinner in a hayloft (following cocktail hour in a barn) could be so swank? Well, I did, and I glad everyone agreed. The barn dinner was a Luxe Life Camp highlight.

We played the ponies. (Special thanks to Potts and Sherry for equestrian skill and patience!)

Look out Katniss … archery fun was right on target at Luxe Life Camp. Thanks to our teacher Madi.

Thanks to Suzanne, Camp food was amazing – heathy and gourmet! (There’s a pitcher of our pale lavender signature cocktails!)

Our creativity was flowing. “Luxercise” was a fun foray into design ideas.

At the end of the day, we slept in open-air porches. Each bed setting was uniquely designed with a few things in common: comfort, style and what I’ll call communal privacy!

I want to go back! I’m also happy to report that the weekend itself was just as much fun as the creative planning process. (You know how that sometimes goes the other way around, where reality doesn’t live up to expectations? Uh, decidedly NOT so here). Should I do this again in the spring? Oh, I think so!
