A message from Lisa
It’s often said that we can’t control what goes on in the world, but we can control the style in which we respond. This has really resonated with me as the threat of COVID-19 has unfolded, impacting how we live, work and play. Actually, this popular saying has become my mantra, as my team and I address forces outside our control with positive choices and proactive responses.
People are my top priority – our clients (as much friends as clients, I’ll add), the LSI team, our vendors and workrooms, our families and the communities we serve. As the COVID-19 threat emerged we immediately began taking special measures, doing our part to arrest the spread. This will continue – and with more rigor – as advised by the CDC and WHO.
We are expert multitaskers at LSI. Working remotely and leveraging technology is already part of our MO. Clients can expect more direct digital communication via phone and email from me and the team. We can cover a lot of ground virtually, and together we’ll make responsible decisions about projects in progress and new ones – from project inception to installations.
I thrive on creative connections. As we shoulder through this virus, social media – especially Instagram – is a great way to stay connected with much more leeway than the recommended six feet. We will be actively posting – from the office as possible, sharing emerging projects and ideas – and from our various home bases. My Instagram page is not an echo chamber: my eyes are always on you too! Let’s engage.
I am a positive person by nature. I know if we are connected and united – albeit with a respectable distance – we will come out on the other side of this. In the meantime, I have to ask if anyone else is so thankful for that place called home? I am. It makes me feel proud and of service to be part of client homes, creating places of peace and solitude, grace and charm.
Be well, strong and in-touch. We are here.
