OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Lisa Sherry Interieurs is a busy high-end residential interior design firm with multiple projects always on the go. We’re searching for a full-time Operations Manager

 

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Manage overall studio bookkeeping (accounts payable and receivable, including credit card management) in Studio Designer.

  • Product Flow: Manage vendor ordering, receiving, freight and expediting by client. Coordinate all deliveries for the firm.  

  • Vendor/Receiver Relations: Oversee and manage vendor lead-time commitments and claims/repair process. Manage product flow and relationships with receiving partners to ensure timely delivery of good as orders.

  • Set up trade accounts and advice on account status opportunities. 

  • Installations: Coordinate a seamless installation process, coordinating details with designer, receivers, movers, specialty team and day-of on-site support. 

  • Client Relations: Manage client contracts and invoicing.

  • Studio: Organize daily studio operations including managing physical and digital filing systems, office supply inventory, calendars and timelines. 

Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of bookkeeping/operations experience

  • Studio Designer proficiency (or eagerness to master)

  • Command of basic business/creative software. E.g., Excel, Word and Adobe creative suite. 

  • Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills

  • Initiative, positive attitude, flexibility and an eagerness to contribute to the team’s success.

  • An appreciation for the business and art of design.
