Home is our business and our passion at Lisa Sherry Interieurs. Our mantra is “live beautiful.” Yet, we know that many in our community struggle with housing insecurity. That’s why Lisa Sherry Interieurs is honored and excited to actively support Furnish for Good.
Furnish for Good is a helping hand program, providing furniture and household goods to newly housed Charlotte-area individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness.
We can all help. Here’s how.
WELL-LOVED FURNITURE DONATIONS: Sometimes a LSI client’s existing furniture may not be suitable to a new design plan or lifestyle change. LSI actively partners with clients to transition moderately used items to Furnish for Good. We can even help coordinate pick-ups through our friends at Furnish for Good.
LSI DESIGNS FOR GOOD: Furnish for Good invites the clients – individuals and families referred by local agencies – to shop complete household vignettes, available for just $250. This is LSI’s chance to “design for good.” As needed, our team will be on site at Furnish for Good to help order, arrange and package vignettes.
Here's how Furnish for Good works

An individual or corporate donor donates their new or gently used furniture and home goods to Furnish for Good.

Their clients have the choice to shop the vignettes online or visit their showroom to select furnishings and household goods that they need. They strive to provide anything that makes a house a functional, stable home - furniture, linens, cookware, and accessories. *If an in-person appointment is made, the participant will attend the appointment with their case worker/family advocate.

Furnish for Good organizes and creates room settings to showcase the furnishings at their showroom.

Families can furnish their homes with essential furniture as well as cooking supplies, dining supplies, and bath supplies for $250. Twin bedding packages can be purchased for $75 per package (includes a new mattress, bifold bed frame, new pillow, bed bug cover, and new or gently used linens.

Their partner agencies regularly refer individuals and families (their "clients") who need them most.

Once they have selected their furnishings, their movers will deliver them to the participant's new home. There is no additional cost for delivery; the delivery is included in the $250 furnishing fee.
